Trüb’s driver’s licenses are designed to fulfill high security standards. The card bodies are suitable for a long service life and prove to be very robust against mechanical and thermal stress conditions. The customers can chose between a standard driver’s license and an electronic driver’s license document equipped with a chip for enhanced functionalities.

Driver’s license documents are made of fused polycarbonate layers and optimized for excellent performance regarding personalization. In addition to black and white laser engraving, personalization of colored information and color portraits can be realized by means of Trüb’s PCC® Polycarbonate Color technology.

The driver’s license product complies with the ISO/IEC 18013 standard series and, importantly for Member States of the European Union, with the 3rd Driver’s License Directive 2006/126/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
